If your enquiry is regarding someone who is acutely unwell, please call 999.
If the incident has happened within the last 28 days or the subject of the referral still has symptoms of injuries occurring at the time of the allegation, please contact the centre today on 0161 276 6515 to discuss this further.
If you are supporting an adult who has capacity and able to make their own choices, then we would advise you to support them to contact us directly on our 24 hour help line on 0161 276 6515. They will be able to speak to one of our crisis workers for advice and support and will be able to discuss their next steps.
If you, as a professional are not sure how best to support an adult who has made a disclosure of rape or sexual assault, please contact us on our 24 hour help line on 0161 276 6515. A member of our team will be able to offer advice and guidance.
If you are looking after someone who has made a disclosure of rape or sexual assault that did not occur within the last 28 days and they do not have any symptoms of injuries (that occured at the time of the allegation) you can refer for ISVA or counselling support with this referral form
If the adult you are supporting does not have capacity or there are concerns around capacity, then you should follow your own service’s safeguarding protocols to ensure immediate safety. We can support adults lacking capacity to come for forensic medical examinations particularly with input from social care and police. Please contact us on our 24 hour help line on 0161 276 6515 if you would like to discuss a referral or have any questions about supporting an adult who has been raped or sexually assaulted but does not have capacity.
